Among them was him saying he is a better player than both LeBron James and Shaquille O’Neal. There were also comments he made about the team. This made it look like the Hornets might let him go. But this dancing with the split may end up doing more damage to Jones than any of his statements.
Kai Jones isn’t very well-known outside of people who are Hornets fans. Those fans have been on the fence about Jones. Some have said he has the potential to become a good player for the team. Others say that the team needs to move on from him. Obviously, after the comments that Jones made about the team, there were more fans of the team against him.
