In 2017, Kandi got into the restaurant industry. Her Blaze Steak & Seafood restaurant is the source of much controversy, as a shooting took place there.

Kandi Burruss originally rose to fame as a member of Xscape. When that ended, she got into songwriting. With Tiny, Kandi wrote “No Scrubs” for TLC. After that, the song became one of the biggest hits of 1999. As a result, Kandi and Tiny were in demand as songwriters. Other hits they pinned include “Bills Bills Bills,” for Destiny’s Child. In addition, Kandi expanded into brick and mortar businesses.

Kandi Burruss is now the biggest name associated with “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” When Kandi became a household name, she lent it to her businesses. As a result, Kandi’s businesses are well known in their own right. The Blaze Steak & Seafood restaurant is named after her daughter. This morning, two Blaze employees got into an argument. First, the employees were arguing. After that, the argument turned into a fight. Finally, one employee shot the other, and the suspect fled the scene, while medics transported the victim to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
