When Phaedra first joined “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Kandi found herself a best friend. From the beginning, Kandi had major problems with NeNe Leakes. With Phaedra, Kandi had someone who fought NeNe with her.
However, during the 2014 seasons, Phaedra and NeNe saw a thaw in their relationship. The two would soon become friends, leading to a friendship with Porsha. This left Kandi on the outside looking in and, soon, she and Phaedra were no longer close friends.
Going well outside of being friends, Kandi and Phaedra are now rivals, often shading each other. Tonight’s episode saw Mama Joyce and Don Juan going in on Phaedra for her alleged crimes. While Kandi defended her, fans felt it wasn’t authentic and one tweeted her about, prompting Kandi to tell them Phaedra also talks about her.
