Kanye West accuses Adidas of selling fake Yeezys and not paying him [VIDEO]

Kanye West accuses Adidas of selling fake Yeezys
Kanye West recently claimed he and Adidas were negotiating a new deal. However, when they terminated the original partnership, Ye had many complaints. When his partnerships worked, Yeezy was a multi billion dollar brand. As a result, Kanye was the wealthiest rapper in the game. While Forbes never gave him a net worth higher than $2 billion, Ye claimed he was worth $10 billion. Now, he is accusing Adidas of taking Yeezy colorways and selling them without the branding.
Kanye West had a typical collaborator deal with Adidas. The shoes he designed were actual Adidas products, just branded as Yeezy. As a result, they owned all of the designs and colorways. So, the company’s decision to see the shoes under a different name is nothing new. This is what originally caused the frustration on Kanye’s part. Similarly, Adidas sold shoes from their Kobe Bryant-branded line, after that partnership ended.
Kanye West took to Instagram and vented his latest frustrations. While he recently met with the Adidas head, apparently nothing came from those meetings. At the time, Kanye said that they were negotiating a new deal that would see Yeezy retain 80% of the profits. When he vented on IG Live, Kanye showed how the colorways from Yeezy are being placed on other Adidas products. Also, he said no one who loves him will consider buying those shoes.
