Kanye West and Gap Reveal First Item From Their YEEZY Collaboration, a Blue Jacket With No Zipper or Buttons

Last summer, it was announced that Kanye West and Gap began collaborating, as West signed a 10-year deal. Last month, it was unclear when their YEEZY launch date would be, after initially planning on an end of June release. Now, the first item from the collab has been released.

According to TMZ, this item is an all blue jacket, which doesn’t have a zipper on it at all. It is currently available for pre-order, as West was also seen wearing it back on June 3. Today is also his 44th birthday, which makes perfect sense for the announcement of this Gap x YEEZY jacket.

As far as what this jacket is made of, it reportedly contains recycled nylon material. It appears to be pretty soft as well. The retail price for this item currently stands at $200. Despite this price, this item is sure to sell out quickly when it arrives, as is the case whenever West puts out his Yeezy sneakers and slides.

West is also currently in the middle of his divorce with Kim Kardashian. This was announced in early January, with paperwork officially being filed in mid-February. The estranged couple are seeking joint custody of their children, and seek to keep their own assets.
