Last night, Kanye West held his third “Donda” album listening event, in his hometown of Chicago. It was held at Soldier Field, with thousands of fans in attendance. There were many surprises this time, with The Lox, Kid Cudi, and Jay Z noticeably not being on the album. DaBaby ended up being on Donda, and he even joined Kanye in front of the recreated Kanye childhood home, with Ye and Marilyn Manson.
The previous two listening events were in Atlanta, but in Chicago, this ending had even more interesting moments. Kanye appeared to have lit himself on fire, and soon his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, appeared in a Balenciaga wedding dress. This hinted to many that the two may have called off their divorce. Kim arrived during the playing of “No Child Left Behind.”
Kanye and Kim’s divorce was announced in early January, with Kim ending up finally filing paperwork in mid-February. Now, after all the speculation that they may be back on as a married couple, this may not actually be the case.
According to TMZ, sources close to the outlet have been saying for weeks now that Kanye and Kim are not back together. They supposedly continue to support each other’s endeavors’ such as Ye’s Donda event last night. Ye had previously been dating Russian model, Irina Shayk, over the last few months.
The Donda album still isn’t available, though, as this is the third delay. It’s up in the air at this point, of if fans will ever see this actually be released. Kanye is already making millions of dollars from the listening events.
