Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were close to getting a divorce last summer after West’s wild rant at his South Carolina presidential rally. There, he revealed how he and Kardashian contemplated getting an abortion in 2012 when they were going to have their first child, North. West also blasted Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, on Twitter that month by calling her a white supremacist and “Kris Jong-un.”
Now, things seem to finally be nearing the end for West and Kardashian’s six-year marriage and after having four children together. According to Page Six, “divorce is imminent.” Kardashian has since reportedly hired divorce attorney, Laura Wasser.
“They are keeping it low-key but they are done,” said a source close to Page Six. “Kim has hired Laura Wasser and they are in settlement talks.”
West reportedly spent the holidays at his Wyoming ranch. This was done so the couple could begin the divorce process.
“Kim got Kanye to go up there [Wyoming] so they could live separate lives and quietly get things sorted out to separate and divorce. She’s done,”
Kardashian has also supposedly “grown up a lot.” She is focusing on taking her bar exam to take her legal career further. She also has has enough of West, especially after he tried to run for president last year.
As far as West, he is reportedly over the Kardashians being on reality TV along with the family in general. He labeled ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ as “unbearable” and wants nothing to do with them anymore.
Kardashian also reportedly wants to keep their Calabasas home. She cites how this is where all of their children grew up. We will see how everything unfolds in the settlement.
