Kanye West calls out mother of George Floyd’s daughter
Kanye West has been getting canceled all week long, in the aftermath of his anti-Semitic comments, that he doubled down on, on Twitter. Over the weekend, Ye told reporters that he didn’t know what he said was anti-Semitic, and also went on to apologize for his George Floyd comments. A few weeks ago, Kanye claimed on “Drink Champs,” that Floyd died of fentanyl, and his neck wasn’t hurt by Officer Derek Chauvin’s neck.
As a result, Ye has since lost endorsement deals, due to his anti-Semitic comments. These include brands such as adidas, Balenciaga, and CAA/
However, Kanye is putting himself in even more deeper water. He recently got hit with a $250 million lawsuit from the mother of George Floyd’s daughter, Roxie Washington, due to the comments that he made. Now, he is responding to Washington’s lawsuit, in a quick post and delete Instagram photo.
Kanye explained how he donated $2 million to the Floyd family, in the aftermath of his death. He added that he “guarantees” that most of those who came for him, didn’t do what he did, in regards to financial support. Ye also asked Washington what the Black Lives Matter organization gave her, after Floyd died.
