Kanye West corrects Instagram post about him making $1 million per concert; Claims that his fee is actually $8 million

Kanye West says he makes $8 million per performance

Kanye West has had another very solid year for himself, musically. In February, he released his “Donda 2” album, which was available exclusively on Stem Player. Ye had 16 songs on that project, along with huge features from Jack Harlow, Future, Travis Scott, Fivio Foreign, XXXTentacion, and more.

Kanye has also been controversial this year, due to online feuds with D.L. Hughley, Trevor Noah, and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend, Pete Davison. Ye and Kim ended up officially being divorced, in March.

On Tuesday, @RapThoughtsDaily also posted a Kanye fun fact, on their Instagram feed. They stated that Kanye makes $1 million, for each of his performances. This post ended up going viral, and Kanye noticed. This resulted in him DMing RapThoughtsDaily, and claimed that he actually makes $8 million per performance. Ye also wanted this fact corrected, on that Instagram feed.

“Please change this,” Kanye said on IG. “My performance fee is $8 million.”

RapThoughtsDaily went on to repost the DM, as they said “Consider me corrected.” The $8 million performance fee does could be true, considering that Kanye is a billionaire, and one of the biggest artists of all-time.
