Kanye West premieres first post-Adidas Yeezy product

Kanye West goes out of his way to be eccentric, but he has a good thing with Yeezy. Just a year ago, the company was valued at over $5 billion. Though things were not perfect, the company had partnerships with Adidas, Gap, and Balenciaga. However, Kanye was having issues with each of the partners. His commentary in a 2022 “Drink Champs” interview ended those deals. Briefly, Adidas resumed the partnership to unload their inventory. Now, Kanye is on his own with Yeezy, releasing a new product.

Kanye West initially launched Yeezy as a partnership with Nike. However, they refused to give him a true partnership. They told Kanye they only do those kinds of deals with athletes. While many people have publicized his historic interview with Sway, Kanye was venting about Nike. Adidas offered Kanye a new deal for Yeezy on the spot. After nine years, their partnership has run its course, and Kanye West is going at it by himself.

Kanye West was supposed to be releasing a new album yesterday. As usual, he didn’t release the album, and he used the listening party to vent. So, now he is facing even more backlash over more controversial comments he’s made. While Kanye is getting backlash from that, he’s also ready to debut some new material from Yeezy. Now, he has returned with a new Yeezy sock shoe that has begun to trend on social media.
