Kanye West has one of the most unique stories in hip hop history. Once he was finally given a chance to record, Kanye became one of the biggest rappers in the game. After that, he made the transition into the world of clothing. In an eight year span, Ye turned Yeezy into a multi billion dollar enterprise. Most of this was due to the Adidas partnership. Also, Yeezy had partnerships with Gap and Balenciaga. As fans await his Vultures album, Ye went on a ten minute rant during the listening party.
Kanye West seems to never honor his album release dates. He normally burns through album release dates, only to randomly release his albums. His Donda album rollout was one of the most high profile and the most unusual. As a result, many people were left confused, despite attending his crowded events, in promotion of his album. After that, Kanye moved on and released Donda 2 as an independent, self release.
Kanye West has kept a low profile since 2022. His “Drink Champs” interview was so controversial that his partners backed out of working with Yeezy. As a result, Ye lost his billionaire status. Since then, his company quietly returned to working with Adidas. While the partnership may officially be over, Ye is back to work with the music. During the listening party for Vultures, with Ty Dolla $ign, Kanye ended up going on a rant about Jay-Z, Drake, Balenciaga, and Adidas.
