A couple of years ago, Kanye West jumped even further into the fashion world. He was given a deal with Nike which allowed him to create the sneaker, Air Yeezys, for them. But, by 2013 the deal had not lived up to the expectations that Kanye had, prompting him to go off on Sway.
Kanye West ended up leaving Nike and soon established a similar deal with Adidas. So far, everything with Kanye and Adidas has gone well, as he is working with them and his new shoe is out. Throughout the whole Grammy weekend, Kanye dissed Nike and promoted Adidas.
Last night, Kanye West performed at Jay-Z’s Roc City Classic, hosted by Kevin Durant. The whole Roc Nation roster was out there performing and Kanye decided to take aim at his old friends at Nike during his performance. For a minute and a half, Kanye put Nike down and bigged up his people at Adidas.
