Kanye West is willing to have Jay Electronica on “Eazy” remix

Last week, Kanye West released his highly anticipated “Eazy” single, featuring The Game. Arguably the most popular line by Ye on that record, was dissing Pete Davidson, with “God saved me from that crash, just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass.” Eazy was initially put out on Spotify for 24, hours but was soon made available on all streaming platforms.

Eazy continues to be a fan-favorite, as well as for other artists. Jay Electronica posted a text message conversation between he and Ye this morning, as he revealed that they’d been speaking since January 13. Kanye told Jay that he’s working on “Donda 2,” and Jay also praised Ye for his “Eazy” verse.

Jay also expressed that he wants to add his own verse, to a remix of “Eazy.” That was met with a positive reaction from Kanye, as he replied “Let’s gooooooo.” It’s unclear when this remix will officially be recorded and released, though. Knowing Jay’s impressive lyricism over the years though, it’s definitely something that fans should look forward to.

Last year, Jay also appeared on Kanye’s “Jesus Lord” song. That was on Ye’s “Donda” album, which became his 10th consecutive number one album. Jay’s last album came in March 2020, with “A Written Testimony.” That was also his debut album, as fans had been waiting since 2009.
