Walmart Removes Knockoff Yeezy Foam Runners From Their Website, After Kanye West Began To Sue; Knockoffs Still Remain Hot on Other Apps

Last week, Kanye West ended up filing a lawsuit against Walmart, after finding out that knockoff shoes were being sold, which copied his Yeezy Foam Runner shoes. Walmart ended up claiming that these were done by third party sellers, and not on their own. The shoes were being sold for $25.

Now, after the legal threat by Kanye, Walmart has managed to take down the Foam Runner knockoffs from their site, according to TMZ. They were successfully able to do this, but on other sites knockoffs still exist, such as on ETSY. Some of the shoes there are being sold for between $30-60.

The original Foam Runners sold for $75, as every footwear product that Kanye puts out does extremely well. The slides and sneakers oftentimes sell out in minutes, leaving disappointment fot other sneaker heads online.
