In terms of discussion and attention, Kanye West is the hottest rapper in the game right now. But, when it comes to everything else, it looks like most people have started to tune him out. On “Black Skinhead” track, Kanye West raps about middle America being packed in the arena to see him in his black skin.
Kansas City apparently didn’t get this message, as they weren’t eager to meet the self-proclaimed Andy Warhol in person. Last week, Kanye West did his interview rounds and things got a little crazy. His antics have left even Chris Brown’s situations not getting the same type of attention, which says a lot.
Getting the Yeezus tour off the ground was a bit of a challenge for Kanye West and plenty of dates were rearranged. The underlying issue of the tour was a lack of sales and that continues to be the problem. Kanye West has gone into these concerts and ranted more than performing.
When Kanye West was in Florida, he had an anger outburst and quit his set after three songs. The Kansas City Star reported on his performance at Sprint Stadium and they pointed out his eight minute rant before he even performed a song.
