New does not always mean better and this was the case when it came to Kanye West and the promotion of Yeezus. No, no one is denying the grand way Kanye West introduced his album, but there is nothing wrong with picking a single and a music video. All in all, he still managed to snag another number one album.
A month after dropping Yeezus, Kanye West decided to pick “Black Skinhead” as the first single off the album. In time, the world may realize the genius “Black Skinhead” is, but in the meantime, Kanye West needs a hit. Acknowledging the failure of “Black Skinhead,” he is back at the drawing board.
Kanye West and the label have finally decided to listen to the fans when it comes down to the Yeezus album. Most people have caught on to the “Bound 2” single and it has the most interaction. Getting behind this, Kanye West is now preparing to officially drop the record as a single.
