Kanye West postpones “Yeezus” tour indefinitely
Given the hype surrounding Kanye West at all times, Yeezus was expected to be the biggest album of the year. Early projections had the album paced to move 500,000 copies in its first week. However, this was not the case. The album was very underwhelming and barely crossed 300,000 copies in its first week.
Kanye West ended up delaying the start of the Yeezus tour due to low ticket sales. He still ended up going on the tour. Reviews from fans who attended some of the shows were horrible, as it was said that all he does is lay down. Apparently, all of this has caught up to Kanye West, despite the pop-up shop.
Just when things were getting on track for Kanye West, the Yeezus tour bus carrying essential video equipment was in an accident. The content inside was damaged beyond repair and it left Kanye West with little to no options. Due to circumstances, the Yeezus tour was postponed indefinitely.
