Kanye West reposts Jay-Z’s Grammy speech over Beyonce
Kanye West infamously crashed Taylor Swift’s VMAs speech to rant about Beyonce. This created the reputation of Kanye always ranting. Since that moment, Ye has embraced being outspoken, and speaking out of turn. By early 2022, he was hailed as a genius for doing this, as his company, Yeezy, was valued at over $5 billion. As Kanye has faded from the spotlight, Jay-Z gave a speech in defense of Beyonce never winning Album of the Year. It was compared to Ye’s rant. As a result, Kanye reposted it.
Kanye West is often credited for being an innovator. In many ways, he has been ahead of the curve on many things. None of this negates many of the outrageous statements that he’s made. As a result, he’s often finding himself embroiled in controversy. There have been many people trying to compare the rant that Kanye made to Jay-Z’s speech. While the sentiment was the same, how it came to be was completely different, as Jay was actually on stage to speak.
Kanye West is still reeling from his 2022 “Drink Champs” interview. Despite this, he relaunched Yeezy without a partner. While the company may no longer be worth $5 billion, the company definitely did well with their first sales of the new product. Currently out of the spotlight, Kanye West resurfaced with the world speaking on Jay’s speech. The past few years have seen these two more separated than before, but they’re together on this, as Kanye ended up reposting the speech.
