Kanye West sets up Yeezy office next door to Adidas store
Kanye West shocked the world with how successful his Yeezy brand has been. Despite all the accolades in music, he made more money with Yeezy than he ever did with music. However, Kanye has struggled over the past year with his clothing company. Ye made controversial comments that cost Yeezy all of its partnerships. However, Adidas briefly resumed their partnership to sell the remaining inventory. So without his billionaire status, Kanye opened up a new Yeezy office. It is located next door to an Adidas store.
Kanye West originally had plans of expanding Yeezy into physical stores. While his company had partnerships with Adidas and Balenciaga, Kanye is the 100% owner of Yeezy. When the partnership was still going well, Ye intended to also have the physical stories. Initially, he wanted one of Yeezy’s partners, whether that be Gap, Adidas, or Balenciaga, to back the stores. When that didn’t happen, he tried to do the stores on his own. In part, this led to him venting on “Drink Champs.”
Kanye West has proven to be one of the most determined people in the business world. Even with everything that happened to the Yeezy brand, Kanye is continuing to push. There are rumors about what is coming up next with Yeezy. What can be confirmed is that Yeezy has opened up a new office in Los Angeles. Typical with Kanye, though. He has his new offices directly next door to one of Adidas’ LA physical locations.
