Kanye West sued by former Donda Academy teachers after being fired, as they claim that students were only fed sushi, had to eat on the floor, along with other educational and health and safety code violations

Kanye West sued by fired Donda Academy teachers

In late 2021, Kanye West launched his Donda Academy school, in Southern California. However, it’s been met with plenty of criticism. This includes the belief that it isn’t a legit school with proper curriculums. The school was also briefly closed for a day last year, after Kanye started to become canceled, as a result of his constant anti-Semitic comments.

However, Kanye and Donda Academy are catching even more heat. According to TMZ, two Black teachers are suing him, after recently getting fired. They went on to claim that they were fired after speaking out against alleged education, health and safety code violations.

These teachers also added that the students at Donda Academy were only being fed sushi. No outside food or drinks were allowed either, with the exception of water. Ye reportedly spent $10,000 per week, on providing this sushi to students. He also didn’t want the students using any utensils to eat with.

The way classes were set up at the school were also said to be unusual. Classes weren’t held on the second floor, due to Kanye being afraid of stairs. No artwork was allowed on walls, and students couldn’t wear jewelry. Students also didn’t have any chairs to be able to sit in, aside from some stools. As for the dress code, students were ordered to wear all black, and no Nike or adidas attire.

Meanwhile, Kanye has yet to address this lawsuit, or the claims made about how Donda Academy has been ran.
