Kanye West Won’t Perform At #Coachella Due To Issues With Stage Setup; Calls It “Artistically Limiting”

Yesterday on Twitter, Kanye West went on one of his usual rants supporting Donald Trump and bashing Democrats for no reason. He said that he will continue to wear his red MAGA Trump hat at his shows.

West was also scheduled to headline Coachella this April but that won’t happen now, according to TMZ. The problem with him was the stage being used for his performance. He said that the 60×40 stage was “artistically limiting.” A source close to TMZ praised the type of stage that would’ve been used as they said it’s the type that Shakespeare did shows on.

“These 40×60 stages are so archaic. It’s the same type of stage on which Shakespeare’s works were performed hundreds of years ago.”

Goldenvoice is producing Coachella and made it clear that they won’t go out of their way to accommodate West when other artists have to perform too. West has definitely grown an ego over the years so turning down Coachella due to this stage doesn’t seem much of a surprise.
