Kanye West’s “Donda” Album Now Has August 15 Scheduled Release on Apple Music, After Not Being Out on Time, For Past Two Scheduled Dates

Kanye West had his second “Donda” album listening event at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Thursday, much to the delight of a packed venue. Fans were treated to new records on the project by Ye, which includes collaborations with Lil Baby, The Lox, Jay Z, Roddy Ricch, Fivio Foreign, Lil Durk, Dr. Dre, and more. Ye also ended the night in style, as he floated into the air, following the conclusion of the songs played.

Donda wasn’t released on its scheduled July 23 release date, at the conclusion of the first Donda album listening event, and it didn’t on August 6 either. Many fans expected this to be the case again as now, there is a new scheduled release date on streaming outlets.

On Apple Music, the new Donda album release date is listed as August 15. The question now is if Kanye will decide to have another listening event, and if the album will actually be out on that day this time. He had been living in Mercedes-Benz Stadium for two weeks, and it will definitely be interesting to see if he decides to have another listening event in the ATL again.

The last time that Ye put out an album, it was “Jesus Is King,” the gospel-inspired project, in October 2019. That ended up being the number one album on the Billboard 200 chart, and went on to win a Grammy this past spring, for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album.
