Kanye West’s “Donda” Album, Reaches 1 Billion Global Streams, in 10 Days

Kanye West’s 10th studio album, “Donda,” has been one of the most anticipated projects of 2021, and finally released, in late August. That came after three delays, from late July, until then.

Donda is currently the number one album in the US as well, she is Ye’s 10th consecutive number one. It has 23 out of the 27 songs on it, charting on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, too. Now, it has reached another impressive mark.

According to Hits Daily Double, Donda has reached 1 billion global streams. This is while it holds the titles of having the year’s biggest number one debut.

Kanye definitely knew how to grow hype for Donda, as three listening events were held, with fans in attendance, at stadiums. Two were in Atlanta, and the third concluded on August 26, in his hometown of Chicago. He even brought out DaBaby and Marilyn Manson, next to his recreated childhood home, inside that event, at Soldier Field.
