Kanye West’s Manager, Bu Thiam, Says That “Donda” Album Will “Absolutely” Be Released, After Listening Event in Chicago, Next Week

Yesterday, Kanye West revealed that his third “Donda” album listening event, will take place in his hometown of Chicago, on August 26. The venue is confirmed to be Soldier Field, home of the NFL’s Chicago Bears. This is after rumors of this event happening, with even a stadium security guard saying on Twitter that this is the case.

Kanye had the first two Donda listening events in Atlanta, over the past month, as the album didn’t end up getting released. One fan soon asked on Instagram, if this project will finally be out, after the event in Chicago.

Kanye’s manager, Bu Thiam, replied to this fan, and confidently said “Absolutely!” The newly scheduled Donda release date is expected to be August 27.

At the second Donda listening event in Atlanta, the confirmed collabs were definitely impressive. Lil Baby, Pusha T, The Lox, Dr. Dre, Lil Durk, and Roddy Ricch are among the artists set to be featured on this album.

Check out Bu confirming that Kanye will finally release “Donda,” after the listening event in Chicago, next week.
