Kanye West’s Second “Donda” Album Listening Event in Atlanta, Reportedly Broke Apple Music’s Livestream Record, With 5.4 Million Viewers; Record Was Previously Held By First Donda Event

Last week, Kanye West had his second “Donda” album listening event, in Atlanta. This was held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium again, just like on July 22. For the second time though, the album didn’t release on streaming outlets, as planned.
There has been speculation about if a third Donda listening event will happen, since then. Rumors have surfaced that it may happen at a new stadium, in a new city.
With the first Donda event, it set an Apple Music Livestream record, with 3.8 million viewers. The previous record was held by the Gucci vs Jeezy Verzuz, from November 2020. Now, the second event almost doubled that amount.
According to Chart Data, this Donda event reached 5.4 million viewers. If West were to hold a third event, many anticipate that this record will be broken again. His last album was released in October 2019, with “Jesus Is King,” which went on to win a Grammy this past March.
