Kanye West’s “The College Dropout” album expected to reach top 20 spot

Kanye West’s “Jeen-Yuhs” Netflix docu-series has been very popular on the streaming platform, since it was released last month. Episode three premiered today at midnight, as it highlighted points in Kanye’s life, such as the release of his 2007 “Graduation” album, his mother Donda passing away that year, along with his highlights and controversies in the 2010s decade.

One of the biggest albums of Kanye’s career, has been his 2004 debut studio album, “The College Dropout.” This project was discussed in Jeen-Yuhs as well, as it was a massive success, after taking so long to get released, by Roc-A-Fella Records.

Now, the Netflix impact of The College Dropout appears to be influencing its charting position again. According to Chart Data, this album is expected to return to the top 20, of the Billboard 200 chart, this week. This will mark its highest Billboard 200 position, since it debuted at number one, in 2004. 20,000 units are anticipated to be sold, for this week.

The College Dropout was the first of 10 consecutive number one albums, by Kanye. It was led by hit singles such as “Through The Wire,” “All Falls Down,” ft. Syleena Johnson, “Jesus Walks,” and “Slow Jamz,” ft. Twista and Jamie Foxx. Jay Z, Ludacris, Common, Talib Kweli, and more, were also featured.
