Kanye West’s Yeezy brand is being sold by Adidas again

Kanye West had a whirlwind 2022, which saw his fortune dwindle. Since the early part of 2021, Kanye received a lot of acclaim for his billionaire status. Through his company, Yeezy, Kanye West had lucrative partnerships with Adidas, and later Gap and Balenciaga. As a result, the company’s net worth was between $3 billion and $5 billion. Some reports claimed Kanye’s net worth was close to $10 billion. All of this ended, as Adidas ended the Yeezy partnership. As of today, the partnership is back running.

Kanye West spent the first half of 2023 out of the spotlight. While he made headlines, it was due to stories being made about him. Meanwhile, the only news Kanye West really made was about him buying office space. Aside from that, Adidas previously agreed to sell the remaining Yeezy inventory, or else face losing $3 billion in 2023. Conflicting reports said Adidas was going to simply give the Yeezy inventory away.

Kanye West did make major headlines when he opened a Yeezy office close to an Adidas store. From the looks of things, this may have been a business play. Today, there are reports that Adidas is now selling the Yeezy product again. The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CMPCT is back on the market and is reportedly going to return to stores on June 2, 2023. Previously, the Yeezy Boost was the most popular shoe sold under the partnership.
