Michael Jordan dominated the 1990s, leading the Chicago Bulls to six championships in eight years. Unlike the players before him, Jordan used his popularity to his advantage, business wise. His thirty year partnership with Nike helped make him a billionaire.
Unfortunately, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Michael Jordan, the owner of the hometown Charlotte Hornets, never properly faced off. Well, the two never faced off on the court, properly. But, when it comes to social issues, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is taking Michael Jordan to task, saying he was more interested in selling products than human rights.
