Kawhi Leonard and New Balance announce “Goosebumps” sneaker
Kawhi Leonard is still viewed by many fans, as one of the best basketball stars in the world. The Los Angeles Clippers forward missed this entire season, due to an ACL injury, in the 2021 playoffs. This ultimately cost the Clippers, as they failed to make the playoffs in 2022, as they call to the New Orleans Pelicans, in the play-in tournament.
Kawhi is still making big moves off the court as well, as he has his New Balance sneaker deal. Various sneakers of Kawhi have been released, and now, a brand new one is out now, which features an interesting collaboration.
New Balance is partnering with author R.L. Stine of the legendary “Goosebumps” book series, on a pair of sneakers. An image has since surfaced of Stine, holding a pair. These sneakers feature a green, orange, and black color way, which has Kawhi’s first and and last name on the tongue, of each shoe.
These sneakers were officially released to the public, on April 20. Mens sizes are retailed at $160. Boys sizes start at $140. Fans have since approved of this design on social media, and are looking forward to what other collaborations that Kawhi and New Balance bring, in 2022.
