Often overlooked or even forgotten, Kelis is actually among the first artists to work with Pharrell and have mainstream success. There is a lot of work Kelis put in before “Milkshake,” “Bossy,” and marring/divorcing Nas. This was the quick history lesson.
Kelis soon became primarily known as Nas’ wife and later baby mama, giving birth to Knight Jones in 2009. Unfortunately, this coincided with her and Nas’ marriage ending. Both have managed to successfully move on since then.
Recently, Kelis returned to the news, with an under-the-radar pregnancy. Those who follow Kelis on social media are aware that she was expecting. This is no longer the case, as Kelis has given birth to her second child, but details on name and father are scarce.
