Many have tried to cast Kelly Rowland as perpetually being in the shadow of Beyoncé, but that’s not the case. Kelly is a star in her own right, coming with hit records on her own. She was the first to go solo, topping Billboard, with “Dilemma,” Nelly’s hit single, in 2002.

Kelly Rowland had successful releases in 2007 and 2011. Her summer 2011 single, “Motivation,” featuring Lil Wayne, was one of the most-notable songs of the year. The years since then have seen her transition into more acting, and being more of a personality.

Recently, Kelly Rowland was tapped to cover Women’s Health magazine. She used this opportunity to make a huge announcement, as she shared the cover, and photos, on her Instagram. Kelly Rowland is pregnant and the announcement has already amassed 500,000 likes, on IG.
