Kelly Rowland has been finding a lot of success in the world of cinema. In 2021, she had the Netflix movie that was successful. Like most, Kelly has been producing and starring in these movies. The accomplishments Kelly Rowland made have gone overlooked. Since her claim to fame is Destiny’s Child, people will always associate her with that. However, Kelly stopped a V-103 interviewer from asking her about the group. She said she was there to promote her music.
Kelly Rowland rose to fame as a member of Destiny’s Child, alongside Beyonce. The group is best-known for being the trio, also including Michelle Williams. However, the group previously had LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson in the group. Through the different iterations of the group, Kelly became the second most popular member. Also, she was the first one to go solo and her debut immediately went to the top of Billboard.
Kelly Rowland has had several hits outside of Beyonce and Destiny’s Child. However, people have forever associated Kelly with the group. As a result, media personalities have gotten used to always asking her about Beyonce and the group. Much of this likely led to her “TODAY Show” situation. When she visited V-103, she was asked about Destiny’s Child. Politely, she said she wasn’t there to discuss the group, but was instead there to speak on her movie.
