Becoming the biggest rapper in the game, Kendrick Lamar has come a long way over the past ten years. Top Dawg Entertainment has served the Los Angeles streets, specifically Compton, and signed Kendrick Lamar. Early in his career, Kendrick Lamar gained co-signs from Game and other veterans.

In 2011, Game’s co-sign played a bigger role when it led to Kendrick Lamar appearing on his The R.E.D. Album. Suddenly, the door was opened and Kendrick Lamar met Dr. Dre and signed to Aftermath/Interscope. Kendrick Lamar has since been in Texas, where the world first learned of the “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe” remix with Jay-Z.

Kendrick Lamar has been in Texas for SXSW 2013. Skee TV recently released footage from Kendrick Lamar backstage at FADER Fort at SXSW 2013. Considered by the world as the hottest rapper in the game, MTV even coined Kendrick Lamar as the winner of their “Hottest MCs in the Game” series.
