Planted firmly at the center of the rap universe is Kendrick Lamar, which is a major positive for the West Coast. The last time there was this much hype surrounding a rapper from Los Angeles was during the 2004-2005 period with Game. Before, Game there was another eight year gap.
Expectations are higher for Kendrick Lamar, however, as he is rated by many as a one of a kind artist. Game, along with many others, have hailed him as the West Coast version of Nas. Those are strong words for an artist only one album deep, but so far, the young man has done quite much to impress the hip hop world.
With his album out, Kendrick Lamar has been making his media rounds. It was only a matter of time before Kendrick Lamar caught up with FUSE TV for an “intimate interview.” During the interview, Kendrick Lamar laid it all out on the table, everything from cartoons to sex, it was open for discussion.
