Hip hop heads around the world saw their dreams come true when Kendrick Lamar finally collaborated with Jay-Z. Viewed to the world as a newcomer, Kendrick Lamar is in fact a ten year veteran. Starting locally, Kendrick Lamar chose to work independently, joining Top Dawg Entertainment and then caught the attention of the game.

Known to the mainstream as a rookie, Kendrick Lamar had the momentum behind him and it led to MTV giving him the crown in their “Hottest MCs in the Game” list. In the time since then, Kendrick Lamar is seeing his Drake-assisted “Poetic Justice” single fade away for a new song. Now, the focus is on “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe” with Jay-Z.

Recently, Kendrick Lamar was in New York City and his people at Top Dawg decided to surprise him. Immediately after Jay-Z completed his verse on “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe,” the team played it for Kendrick Lamar. The moment was captured on tape and the footage was released today.
