Kendrick Lamar may have taken shots at Papoose instead of Drake at cypher, Papoose responds on Twitter

It’s been two months and this topic is still being discussed, Kendrick Lamar won and that’s the end of the discussion. There is no king of New York, but there’s definitely some new forces to be reckoned with in the rap game. Those names can be found on Kendrick Lamar’s infamous verse on “Control.”

Already, the hip hop media has attempted to turn this into something. Kendrick Lamar has received comparisons to Nas and Drake has received comparisons to Jay-Z. But, Drake made it clear he’s not going to be beefing with anybody, but Papoose didn’t receive that message and he’s ready for war.

Most people originally felt Kendrick Lamar was taking shots at Drake at the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards cypher. But, after a few reviews, it looks like the shots might’ve really been directed towards Papoose. The Brooklyn rapper feels the same way and he tweeted Drake to stand back while he handled this.
