Kendrick Lamar morphs into celebrities in “The Heart Part 5” video
On Sunday evening, Kendrick Lamar released a surprise brand new single. This is “The Heart Part 5,” as he also released a video for it. The concept in these visuals had fans talking, as he morphed into various celebrities.
Kendrick’s face in this video, morphed into Will Smith, Kanye West, Kobe Bryant, Nipsey Hussle, Jussie Smollett, and O.J Simpson lookalikes. The lyrics in The Heart Part 5 also applied to each celebrity that Kendrick turned into.
Kendrick turning into Nipsey appeared to be the most creative part of the celebrity lookalikes, in regards to the lyrics. In that moment, it seemed as if Nipsey was the one rapping the lyrics, “To my brother, to my kids, I’m in Heaven // To my mother, to my sis, I’m in Heaven// To my father, to my wife, I am serious, this is Heaven.”
The Heart Part 5 is also expected to be on Kendrick’s upcoming fifth studio album, “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.” This will be released on May 13. It is Kendrick’s first album, since all the way back in April 2017, with “Damn.” This forthcoming album is also expected to be Kendrick’s third straight number one album.
