Kendrick Lamar Registers New Songs With ASCAP; Album Release Date Speculation Heats Up

Last month, Kendrick Lamar revealed via his website, that his upcoming album, will be the final one, on the Top Dawg Entertainment label. He was with the Los Angeles-based label for 17 years. Lamar also released new music for the first time since 2018, last month, as he collaborated with Baby Keem, on Keem’s “Family Ties” single.

Now, it looks like Lamar’s first album in over four years could be arriving soon. The Compton MC has registered several songs with ASCAP, which hints at this project being on its way. These records areĀ “Before The Hangman’s Noose,” “Comfortable,” “Director,” “Fighter Thief In The Night,” “Fade To Black,” “Erika Kane,” “End Of The Line,” “Of Paupers And Poets,” “Believe,” “Driving Down The Darkness,” “End Of The Line,” “and “Fell For You.

Lamar’s last solo studio album, arrived back in April 2017, with “DAMN.” That debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, and even won a Pulitzer Prize. That project was led by hits such as “HUMBLE,” “LOYALTY,” ft. Rihanna, and “DNA.”
