Kendrick Lamar 11

Last year, Kendrick Lamar put forth an impressive effort. He is a dominating force in the game and good kid, m.A.A.d. city solidified his position in the game. Before the release of his album, Kendrick Lamar had dropped several mixtapes and a widely-regarded classic street album.

Kendrick Lamar is unlike a lot of the other rappers who have emerged over the past few years. Whereas a lot of emcees have returned with new albums only months after their debuts, Kendrick Lamar is taking time off. Closing in on a year since he dropped good kid, m.A.A.d. city, Kendrick is just now discussing a new album.

There is enough music from Kendrick Lamar to hold his fans over. When he performed in Chicago at Lollapalooza 2013, Kendrick Lamar brought his bevvy of hits with him. He performed his verse on A$AP Rocky’s “Fuckin’ Problem,” which also features 2 Chainz and Drake and he also performed his Drake-assisted “Poetic Justice.”
