It was 2013 when Kendrick Lamar began to fade from the spotlight and this was intentional. After accomplishing the feats he made appear to be easy, Kendrick Lamar went on hiatus. But, Kendrick Lamar has returned in a major way.
Kendrick Lamar had a release date for To Pimp A Butterfly, but the album was still released as a surprise. While the numbers are not as big as his last album’s, he still has a lot of momentum. The first week sales for his album were very impressive.
Complex was present when Kendrick Lamar did his surprise Hollywood performance. In fact, they followed him to the destination point and then sat down with him for an exclusive interview. Kendrick Lamar told them when he plans on releasing his next album and discussed the Hollywood performance.
