Kendrick Lamar talks sophomore album and Black Hippy project with MTV News [VIDEO]

At a time when vanity seems to be at an all-time high, Kendrick Lamar was refreshing while being himself. good kid, m.A.A.d. city was the first classic album to come out in a while, especially as a debut album. When fans wanted more, however, Kendrick Lamar told them there would be a waiting period.

Kendrick Lamar was approached by Josh Horowitz of MTV for MTV News at The Amazing Spiderman 2 premiere in New York City. Here, Kendrick Lamar answered a few questions about his sophomore album. He was also asked about the forever discussed-but-delayed Black Hippy project.
