Kendrick Lamar will reportedly perform new music, at 2022 Milano Summer Festival

Kendrick Lamar expected to debut new music at Milano Summer Festival

Kendrick Lamar performed at the Super Bowl LVI halftime show last weekend, and was received with high praise. He was part of an epic halftime show, that also included Eminem, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Mary J. Blige.

Kendrick was rumored to release a new single ahead of his Super Bowl performance, but that unfortunately didn’t happen. The TDE artist still hasn’t released a single or album since 2017, as fans are still anxiously waiting.

Now, it appears that Kendrick may have new music coming this summer. The Compton rapper will be headlining the Milano Summer Festival, and the concert reports that Kendrick will be debiting new music from his upcoming album there. The festival is taking place on June 23, in Milan, Italy.

Last August, Kendrick announced that his upcoming fifth studio album will be his last album releases, under the Top Dawg Entertainment record label. Kendrick had been signed to the LA-based label for over 15 years. Both sides cordially accepted this direction that each were going.

“As I produce my final TDE album, I feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years. The Struggles. The Success. And most importantly, the Brotherhood. May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for candid creators. As I continue to pursue my life’s calling.”
