Kendrick Lamar’s “Euphoria” becomes fastest solo rap song in 2024 to reach gold eligibility

Kendrick Lamar’s “Euphoria” Drake diss track sets new record

Over the past week, Kendrick Lamar and Drake have fired various diss tracks against each other. Kendrick has put out four, while Drake released. Two one of the most notable diss tracks from Kendrick is “Euphoria,” which was released at the top of last week.

Meanwhile, Kendrick’s Euphoria single continues to reach major milestones. According to Chart Data, it is now the fastest solo rap song released in 2024 to reach gold eligibility in the US. This comes after selling over 500,000 units, and doing so in less than eight days.

Kendrick’s Euphoria included notable bars about supposedly turning down Drake’s request to be on “First Person Shooter,” which also featured J. Cole, and clowning Drake’s friendship with Sexyy Red. Moreover, Cole and Drake both went on to be dissed by Kendrick, while Kendrick was featured on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That” record. Both First Person Shooter and Like That each debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Furthermore, Kendrick’s “Not Like Us” Drake diss record is also expected to debut atop the Hot 100, next week. This was released last weekend, and would be the first solo number one hit of Kendrick’s career.
