Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” surpasses Drake’s “God’s Plan” as the fastest hip-hop song to receive over 100 million Spotify streams

Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” breaks Drake’s Spotify record
Over the past two weeks, Kendrick Lamar has been dominating with his latest Drake diss track, “Not Like Us.” This has been shattering streaming records, and even debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart, on Monday.
Furthermore, Kendrick’s Not Like Us single has reached another major milestone. According to Chart Data, it has now surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify. Therefore, it is now the fastest hiphop song in history to reach this, as it has done so by surpassing Drake’s 2018 smash hit, “God’s Plan“.
Not Like Us was released on May 4, and produced by Mustard, who’s been one of California’s hottest producers, over the past decade. Kendrick provided an impressive up-tempo record in which he dissed Drake again in various ways, which again highlighted pedophilia allegations against him. Drake responded with “The Heart Part 6,” the next day, but many failed to believe that he issued a strong response to Kendrick. The Heart Part 6 has since been the last diss track released, between the two. Four diss tracks were released by Kendrick in total, that weekend, and Drake dropped off two.
