Kenneth Petty Pleads Guilty, to Not Registering as Sex Offender, in California; Faces 10 Years in Prison

Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, has been in serious legal trouble, since last March. He was arrested by US Marshals, for failing to register as a sex off headed in California, just like in his home state of New York.

Now, new developments are surfacing, in Petty’s case. According to documents obtained by PEOPLE, Petty has plead guilty here, and will be sentenced in early 2022.

Petty also faces 10 years in prison, and a lifetime of supervised release. This all comes after initially pleading not guilty last spring, and posted $100,000 bail.

The alleged 1995 rape victim of Petty’s, Jennifer Hough, has also been suing him and Nicki, as they’ve allegedly been threatening her. This is due to her not recanting her story of what happened that year.

Petty and Nicki have been married since October 2019. They initially got back together in 2018, after getting in contact with each other again. The two also went on to have their first child, last fall.
