2020 has been a very crazy year. In January, we lost Kobe Bryant, February took out Pop Smoke, and March and April have given us this horrible coronavirus pandemic which has been pausing a lot of our lives. Some states are starting to reopen their economies though such as Georgia, South Carolina, Texas, and Florida.

There’s a very wild story coming out of Kentucky now as Governor Andy Beshear had a press conference on Monday discussing people filing for unemployment benefits with fake names. He mentioned how a man tried to say his real name is Tupac Shakur, which is actually true.

“We had somebody apply for unemployment for Tupac Shakur here in Kentucky. And that person may have thought they were being funny,” Beshear said. “Except for the fact that because of them, we had to go through so many other claims.”

This is a 46-year-old white man out of Lexington, KY. He has since told the Lexington Herald-Leader that “I’m hurt, I’m really embarrassed and I’m shocked.” His middle name is also Malik. Shakur did say that Beshear did apologize about the incident though and has since forgiven him.

Expect more craziness like this in 2020. The Rona and a white man named Tupac is just the beginning. With what we’ve seen so far, don’t be surprised to see Tupac actually come back alive.
