Kenya Moore temporarily exits RHOA season 16 amid controversy
Kenya Moore is a staple of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” However, she will not be returning for the rest of Season 16 due to a recent controversy, according to sources. The reality TV star is taking an indefinite break from the show. This comes after being sidelined for allegedly displaying sexually explicit posters of newcomer Brittany Eady during the filming of the upcoming season.
This decision came after an incident in which Brittany Eady allegedly threatened Kenya. She used the word “gun” during a heated argument. Although an investigation by Bravo found no substantiation of a weapon being present, tensions remained high.
In response, Kenya displayed NSFW posters of Brittany at her hair spa grand opening, which led Bravo to launch another investigation. The network found Kenya’s actions violated their code of conduct, resulting in her temporary suspension. Despite this, Kenya has not been officially fired and may return to the show in the future.
Sources indicate Kenya is considering legal options due to her dissatisfaction with how the situation was handled, particularly regarding her safety concerns. This incident highlights ongoing issues within Bravo, which is currently facing lawsuits from former Housewives Leah McSweeney and Caroline Manzo.
Kandi Burruss gave Kenya Moore her support. However, Kandi is no longer on the series.
The future for Kenya Moore and her role in “RHOA” remains uncertain, as she weighs her next steps amid this controversy.
