In a recent podcast episode, KD was speaking on Verzuz. With people speaking on 50 Cent and Lil Wayne, KD said his money is on Fif.
Kevin Durant, ironically, has a career trajectory that more lines up with Lil Wayne. Not only was his rookie year when Wayne was dominating hip hop, but KD’s team had a similar rise. However, like 50 Cent, Kevin Durant was great from the start. Drafted to a tanking Seattle SuperSonics team, KD began as a solid role player. For his efforts, he won Rookie of the Year. After that, the Sonics folded to create the Oklahoma City Thunder, and KD put them on the map with his scoring.
