Kevin Garnett says Jordan Poole doesn’t belong in the league

Kevin Garnett is the latest person to criticize Jordan Poole, who’s learning the price of fame. In 2022, he was the X factor for the Golden State Warriors’ title run. The following year, Poole was blamed for the team’s implosion. As a result, he was traded to the Washington Wizards. Finally with his own team, everything Poole does faces backlash. Now, he has Kevin Garnett saying he doesn’t even belong in the NBA. He points out his Golden State exit as one reason.

Kevin Garnett has seen the video clips of Jordan Poole, some of which were taken out of context. There is one video where Poole is aggressively saying the Wizards are his team. The clip makes it appear as if he’s saying this to his teammates. However, a longer clip shows Poole is actually berating himself. After a bad play, Poole was ranting to himself. When he said the Wizards are his team, Poole was simply hyping himself up in order to play better.

Kevin Garnett also has watched Jordan Poole play, these past three years. As a result, many of the concerns he has about Poole’s leadership are valid. In the latest episode of “The Ticket & The Truth,” he and Paul Pierce discussed Jordan Poole. When KG said JP doesn’t belong in the NBA, Pierce spoke in defense of him. However, KG said he doesn’t want this kind of guy being the leader of a team his son is on, citing his poor decisions, and bad attitude.
