Even though Baton Rouge hardly gets the props it deserves, many of the hottest rappers hail from the city. A few years ago, Kevin Gates was the biggest name emerging from the city. As it is, when multiple artists emerge from a city, the second wave had beef with the first wave.

Boosie forever remains Baton Rouge’s iconic rapper and Kevin Gates was a rival with his. Beef with Boosie means beef with Webbie, so he was against Gates, too. But, early this year, Boosie and Kevin Gates made amends.

With Boosie and Kevin Gates on good terms, Webbie and Gates had a meeting. The two squashed everything, on the spot, hugging it out, and exchanging phone numbers. This whole moment was captured by @jbuctheproducer1, who put it on his Instagram.
